Has Heskey changed?
Have England got worse or got no options?
Have the opposition changed to suit his juggernaut style?
Has Cappello inspired him in a way Sven & McClaren couldn’t?

You turn your engine off at lights to save petrol (and the environment) when you know you are going to wait at least a minute.
Warning: don’t do this if you are stuck in a queue at night with your lights on as if your battery is not good you won’t be able to start . . . I know.

I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars (hebrew: palm trees) of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come. (Joel 2:30-31)

Is being on the sick long-term like growing old early?
I mean you have less energy, do less adventurous things, have less money, tend to be a bit bitter, talk about the good old days, take up low-cost pastimes.Or do you have more time to reflect on life, self-heal from years in the rat-race doing things that didn’t make you happy?
What are some…[Read more]

I find pubs that rely on passing-trade the worst.
Especially on bank holiday weekends where they can always blame staff or ingredient shortage . . . and of course those horrible coke-dispensers water it down.
Last time I bought a pint of orange-juice and lemonade from a pub (18 months ago) it was £2.70.
I questioned this, they said they had to…[Read more] -

Interesting that everyone thought the guy was nice, polite etc.
Just shows how you never really know a person!!
People cover their secrets well.Others are trapped in life in other ways, sure they are not locked in rooms, but spiritually they cannot escape their thoughts and weaknesses that chain them to an unfulfilled existance . . . or can they?

Jack and the beanstalk
I suggest you read the story first and have a think what the symbolism is.
Some internet accounts leave out detail, you can find audio cartoon renderings, such as hereJack is a shortened form of the name Jacob, so he is a type of the whole house of Jacob, the children of Israel (Jacob’s name was changed to Israel).

You guys seem to be agreeing with me but from the perspective of outsiders looking in.
If the modern church was like the one that began in Acts, it would be more respected, but it seems more concerned with providing entertainment, charity works programmes and intellectual discussion for the comfortable middle class than promoting a God who does…[Read more]

Of course selling these eggs really brings home the bacon for the retailers.
The daft customers end up paying three times as much for the chocolate . . . I’ve also seen Simpsons and other TV-show themed eggs.“Happy Eater”.
