lol @ TUX .. that can happen thou .. m8 of mine stuck the speakers in the modem speakers and was wondering why he didnt have sound, but his modem was really load.
BB did you or the kids mess with the winamp play out options ?
did you check your windows volume controllers ? .. some times if youve recorded or use differant outputs, it can knock our your wave play volume settings ..
If its a problem with your sound card .. go to control panel – devices manger look to see if you have a :!: at your sound card .. if so that might be a driver or card problem .. try updating drivers first
