Well i’d be dissapointed if he was happy at the moment.But he will be here to the summer at least.I wouldn’t read to much into what the papers are speculating about as they have there own agenda and he isn’t likely to be telling them anything.They where reporting about him having death threats ffs……..absolute rubbish !!
I think he will leave if we aren’t in the Champions league next season and he will stay if we are…….simple !!That’s the thing though Gym Guy………A proper fan doesn’t get embarassed just because there team lose a few games.
That’s when you get your chance to support them properly…ie) when they need you !!
We have a lot of injuries and it’s only the out of towners who are panicking because they only support teams away from there home cities because they have been succesful in the past.So they are bound to jump ship if things go wrong.
Although it’s not good enough for a team of our stature the goals for the season where to gain as much cash from the champions league run and to qualify for it again in order to have a chance of keeping Gerrard.Benitez needs money to rebuild and it will only be this season that we will want this as making money isn’t what the club is about………… winning Trophy’s is !!
We may also still get a trip to Cardiff as well with a bit of luck.We lost tha same two matches the last two seasons at home to Man utd and away to Southampton.There is just a bit of a fuss at the moment because we didn’t compete properly in the F.A Cup.

It is but at what cost.
If we had played a full strength team and lost Gerrard through injury you could pretty much right of our chances for qualifying for Europe this season never mind the Champions league.We have just lost to many key players this season now through injury to compete at every level.I think the boss took it as a chance to look at the Squad he is still learning about and if they got through they got through……………..he’d have played the same lot again against Bournmouth.If then we are out of the Champions League by the time the later rounds come around then he would have played more experienced players if we were still in the competition.
As a rule I would usually have given a toss about this competition,but not this season as it could be a blessing in disguise by giving us good breaks running up to key games.Soulie………..support your local team and stop glory hunting !!!

We started the match with 3 players who had started against Man Utd on Saturday.One of them was Dudek,who we haven’t got any real cover for or he would have been out to.Traore was another ( least said about him the better) So if you can’t see that we hadn’t taken the game seriously……your a bigger clown than ermmmm…Traore ??

If you look at our fixture list it benefits us to go out……………….10 day break before the next Champions league game………..10 day break before the Merseyside derby ( which is a big game for 4th place)
I can understand you will have to win a cup this season after all the money Fergie has spent but we are more patient around these parts.But still…………………..4 european Cups to your Miserly 2…haha !!
