Not today but the other day. Was out on a work night out. Felt really crappy about myself, went through dozens of outfits cos ive put on a bit of weight and so nothing seemed to look right. Eventually found something I thought looked ok and went out. After a few drinks stopped feeling as self concious and started enjoying myself. Sat down for a meal and one of my colleagues who I rarely see turned round infront of everyone and said christ u can tell u enjoy ur food now. I was like what? he said well uve really beefed up I mean u used to be slim now ur beefy. This was infront of everyone I worked with, I wanted the ground to swallow me up. I left early and was in tears by the time I got home, how come some people can just be so bloody insensitive
Ahh stop rubbing it in :p. My sis goes down wednesday as well, her first festival bless and she’s camping with 50 of her bf’s mates and knows hardly any of them so she’s in for a treat. But I no she’ll enjoy it, the atmosphere at downloads always great… I wanna go
Hey back to work today. Saw bon jovi sunday night ( and I myself was a little bit pished ) got to manchester bout 12.30 and headed straight for the nearest pub so pretty much drank all afternoon. They played a great set, they were on for 2.5 hours, wasn’t expecting them to be on for that long and I ended up getting pretty close. They haven’t got the same energy as they used to have but thats to be expected really and didnt stop them putting on a great show.
I was also really surprised at how good nickelback were, I’m not a fan myself but live they’re actually quite good. And my dad really enjoyed the weekend which was the main thing, ended up talking to loads of great people down there, so all in all a great weekend!

Sorry what I meant to say was they haven’t toured near to us, I saw them at gateshead stadium. My dad always said he’d want to see them again but wasn’t too keen on travelling but I dont think they’re going to do many more tours after this one so my bf is driving us down so he doesnt have to drive. Just didnt want him missing out on the chance to see them again
I’ve just turned 21 at the end of may.
Well they were the first rock band I saw live, I was 15 at the time and this is the first time they’ve toured since then. I wasn’t bothered about going, it was more for my dad who’s a huge fan ( we managed to keep the fact that they were touring a secret from him until christmas ) but I’m looking forward to it now, should be nice and sunny as well :D
2 more sleeps until I see them, not a big fan of nickelback like, but last time I saw bon jovi they put on a great show
Oh my bf’s just come through ( we work at the same place ) to tell me he’s been promoted to head of IT. I’m so proud of him :D It’s the work night out tonight as well, definitely gonna be a good night
