21 July, 2006 at 1:24 pm #231886A very similar thing happened to me… only worse, we used to have a sunbed so one day while I was getting undressed to go on that we got a knock at the door. We have a dog and he always barks when someone knocks so I ran to answer the door.. forgetting I only had a thong on. I was at college at the time and opened it to find about 4 lads I went to college with at the door. I was mortified! So sweetasbaileez hunny, take comfort in knowing its not as bad as that!
21 July, 2006 at 1:19 pm #231859Well Cath ( people may think I’m weird for saying this but hey who cares ) several of my aunts are what I guess you would call wiccans and used to practice white witchcraft. As a result from a very early ages I was shown how to use runes, tarrot cards, given books on witchcraft and spells etc so have never been afraid of anything supernatural. My aunt always said I have a gift, I often used to talk to my grans dad when I was very young, I have no recollection of it now but I have been told about it. I was able to describe him, tell my gran the pet names he used to have for her, retell stories of her childhood and he died in the second world war. So I definitely think people who are afraid either dismiss it as their imagination and if you aren’t open minded then you shut things out.
21 July, 2006 at 1:15 pm #231864You definitely have a point there cath, even things that happened a few years ago feel like a lifetime away. Oh I definitely enjoy myself, more so now than ever before, I think thats the reason for the recent weight gain.. too much alcohol
Haha magoo, always there to cheer people up eh :P funnily enough I’m going clubbing tonight so I’ll see if you’re theory is right.
I don’t think age matters rubes, wearing high heels cripples you no matter what age you are!
21 July, 2006 at 12:36 pm #231857Well unfortunately its something you’ll never be able to know. I’ve had tonnes of experiences with ghosts, spirits whatever you want to call them. I think some were ghosts as in died a long time ago, but my grandad visited me the night before he died telling me not to worry as he would move on the next day. Told my parent’s the next day but they didn’t believe me but that afternoon he passed away, I think they were slightly freaked out but my parents have always said im weird :? So who knows, its just something we won’t find out until we die unfortunately

18 July, 2006 at 3:49 pm #23111917 July, 2006 at 8:29 am #230624Hey GB, glad you’re ok. Don’t worry they’re definitely to blame, had a similar thing happen to me a few years ago, my mam was about to pull out of a parking space when the guy in the parking space infront decided to reverse into us and ended up on the bonnet. He accepted full responsibility at the time and swapped details. A week later we got a letter through off his solicitor saying we’d reversed into him! ( fairly stupid claim to make considering all the damage was to the front of our car ) but it got sorted in the end. The main thing is to try to get it sorted ASAP, and like everyones said, they should have checked it was clear before reversing, it was entirely their fault and any solicitor will tell you the same ( just hope it doesn’t come down to that! )
12 July, 2006 at 8:59 am #229998Although I’m probably still classed as a bairn in some peoples eyes on here I’ve been through quite a bit over the past few years so I feel really proud to be in the position I am now. I’ve now got a decent job, and will be starting training soon so I am qualified ( which the company is paying for ) I have a great bf who I love more than anything, a close group of friends that I know I can rely on, a loving family and by this time next year will hopefully have a place of my own. Although this might not sound special or any different to what most people have I think its what matters the most, having people around you who you know you can rely on for anything, and who need you for one reason or another and more importantly im happy than I’ve ever been. And I wouldn’t change anything, there’s no point in dwelling on the past because you can’t change it and things that have happened to you make you who you are
