I know, thats what my driving instructor always said he can teach me the basics but only by driving will I learn how to drive properly

Got my first shot driving the OH’s car last night, insisted on just having my sis ( who can’t drive ) as my first passenger, didnt want the added pressure of having someone who could drive sitting next to me, absolutely loved it ( although we did get a bit lost lol )

Thanks all. Now insured to drive too :D although I’m a bit confused, my bf got me insured on his car, hearing horror stories from friends I was expecting it to cost a fortune, but instead its cost nothing, and they’re actually giving him £16 back! No idea how they’ve worked that one out!

Don’t be, that was my fourth attempt! It’s funny I got myself so worked up about passing and was so worried about failing the others that the nerves got to me. This time round though I thought stuff it, I know what I’m doing and if I fail I fail I know I’ll pass eventually and because of that I was alot calmer and it must have shown!
Don’t be too hard on yourself, and dont overthink things, chances are you’ll know what you’re doing so just do it ( I know it may not make sense but my problem was I thought about things too much when I knew what I was doing and should have just done it )

Thanks all, I know I’ve still got a grin on my face, just wanna go out there and drive now. My dad said he’ll get me insured on his if I want ( think its just so I can be run around like ) but I dont mind. Oh and GB, I’ve replied on the other forum, thought it was u :D

Well I’m stuck at work until 5.30 then I have to go home water the plants and do the tea and I’m taking some work home so I have that to look forward too :(
