I think what rubyred meant was dont send her texts for a few days, joke ones etc and act like ur best mates again, she needs time to herself to come to terms with things and will no doubt be in touch with you when shes ready

It probably means shes a bit upset and needs a bit of time to herself, I’m sure she’ll come around eventually, just give her time

Are you genuinely asking for advice? If so try talking to her first, she obviously thinks you’re more than just friends, just tell her you are happy having her as a friend, and although you care about her you dont see her as anything more than a friend.
