Twisting, falling
around and around
flightless I fall.
My leaden body hits the ground
with surgeon’s precision
and magician’s flair
you gunned me down
locked in your sight of cross-hair
Crimson wings unfurl
and stain that which was white
as my vision does fade
and my lungs feel so tight
Farewell cruel world
life was always so fleeting.
Finally I feel free
as my heart stops its beating
