Oh my goodness me, what a lovely surprise! All those warm wishes from such nice people!! Well, yes, 9 October came and went and I celebrated it in a very small way, which involved several vodkas and a few Baileys *hic* – oh and my very own rendition of “She’ll be coming round the mountain” several times until the barman asked me to come down from the table and take my seat like the rest of the punters!

Seriously, 50 years young and looking forward to the next 50!
