Keep your eyes open tonight because it could be your best chance this year to see a breath-taking display of shooting stars. The skies over Britain should light up as an estimated 80 to 100 meteors an hour rain down. The annual Perseids meteor shower happens as the Earth passes through debris from the Swift-Tuttle comet – but, as ever, the weather risks putting a dampener on things.
Never rains but it pours, huh?..
Woohoo
Looks as though the weather is going to be just right for the show :)
in my area anyway :)Ok – So, we’ll all grab our popcorn and come to your area..
You will also need your deckchair, warm blanket and hot flask :?
I’m coming to watch the stars, not going on an outing for the over 60’s..
It does get rather chilly in the early hours, also the grass is damp at this time of year, the damp can get to ones bones at any age , and anyone with a bad back really does have to take extra care
