i have read (only today) about his parents who started the australia zoo and i can do nothing but congratulate him on his and his families work with animals
i merely commented on his choice of lifestyle which was a tiny bit more risky than smoking a cigarette

Couple of inaccuracies I have to pull you up on there young man.
Firstly he was feeding a crocodile whilst holding the baby, where you picked up the ‘angry’ bit is totally beyond me.
Secondly his parents were not the founders of Australia Zoo, Steve Irwin done that all by his lonesome. He took over his parents reptile zoo and turned it into what it is today.
I can understand the outcry from 2004 when he held his month old baby whilst feeding a croc but we don’t live in his world and to be honest cannot criticise what we do not know. He knew the risks and as I have already stated I am sure he spoke to his wife (Terri) on many occasions about any unfortunate eventuality. I am convinced she was 100% behind his lifestyle. I would rather see Steve Irwin risking life and limb for the preservation of our wildlife than seeing some drunken crack head pop star/actor getting the acclaim when he dies early from an o/d. I find it extremely hypocritical how people can moan and whinge about Steve Irwin without having the first idea about his life (of which I have no idea either) but instead of celebrating a great conservationist they slag him off in the early moments of his death. I’m ashamed of some of you, I really am.
