Sgt, Pepper won’t be available to do the quiz tonight, Chessy. He had an accident in the car this morning. No major damage..but enough to scupper his participation tonight.
He tells you not to worry and wishes you all the best. xx
Good luck from me also xx

Moi? A sore loser? With my record? On yer bike Just making an observation. Anyway I’m glad I didn’t hit a raw nerve
Maybe we’ll get fewer biased questions towards the opposing team tonight..what with all the footie ones last week and CL (Aaron’s pal) being exceedingly knowledgeable on the subject. :- [-X [-(
Ok Pb but if nobody else will, will you do tonight?
:) [/b]
Actually..everyone on our team HAS had a go at the phone-in..so it’s only fair that PB takes his turn tonight.
Yodles my love..you’re the Captain..but as Vice Captain *coughs* let me help you out..
PB you’re on the phone-in tonight.
The King is dead//long live the King (or Queen I hope) I’ll be sorry to lose Poet as a team Captain as he was always fair and a good sport..but it’s good to have a change..so I vote for the lovely Yoda.
When day is over and life is done
Mine eyes have closed and my strength has gone,
O westwards take me and quietly lay me
In Aignish graveyard beside the sea.
There please leave me by kith and kin
By parents kindly and all my friends,
By white waves pounding on beaches sounding
By Aignish graveyard beside the sea.

I think it comes down to female clergy not being afforded the same importance as the men, therefore their indiscretions are regarded as of lesser significance and therefore their punishments less draconian.
