And to add most of these im not a ‘colour’ judge and poor old black ppl….live in mainly ‘white’ areas where there arent the problems there are in ‘black’ areas.
Another thing that p i s s e s me off. I drive a BMW and ppl presume im married to a black man……tell me that the area in which i live dont have problem with colour! Then come and live here for 12 months and see what your perspective is then.Black man gets beat up by white man, its a racist attack.
White man gets beat up by black man its assault. There is a part in Birmingham called Alum Rock where there are signs saying ‘NO WHITE AFTER 10 clock’ this is an Indian area. We as white ppl would not dare to do such a thing because its racist, right?
I am sick of hearing foreign skinned ppl blaming everything on their colour. ‘Its cuz im black’ if i tried to blame my colour, ‘its cuz im white ‘ i would look and sound like a t w a t and would hold no clout as ppl do not fear white racism as it doesnt exist! Apparently.

Your point was I am inconclusive, my point was I am not.
When people stop adding racial connotations to issues where race is not an issue for those who are in the minority, we will see some real progress.
I have read a lot of your posts , they are well constructed , and obviously from an intelligent source – but they are anything but conclusive !!!
As far as adding racial connotations to issues – can’t you see that it’s you that does that – at any comment you immediately go on the offensive .
I know that a lot of the extreme views are from a rsehole left wingers – but they are doing it – to defend minorities rightly or wrongly – and it seems to be the pc thing to follow those trends – that is what gets a lot of ordinary peoples backs up
I am not confusing multiculturalism and immigration with anything – don’t imply that I am
I won’t get personal on the boards – I try not to – but other people have views apart from you24 April, 2006 at 9:05 am #205209Sorry about Saturday Sunny – I was there – we were 1 – 0 up on 70 minutes then like the rest of the season we threw it away – then a penalty ffs
If we had got the point we deserved there I think Brum might have had a chance of ending up above Pompey
What a disaster this season was – even drawing away to Man U – effectively denying them a glimmer of hope of catching Chelsea – dodn;t please me – as I’d rather see Man U champions than Chelsea24 April, 2006 at 8:53 am #210127How do we grow cattle these days ??
I’d like to disagree with the greenies about bins . I pay a lot of rates – in which my refuse collection is included – if they want to separate it into different categories then they should so it themsleves at the tip – as far as I am concerned my rubbish goes into a bin end of story .
We have a green bin and a blue bin – the blue bin is “green” ffs
So if u have a chicken carcass or whatever to put in the bin day after general collection it will be there for 2 weeks – by which time the bin will be moving up and down the street itself !!!!!!!!
Again I believe it’s pc shyte – nature will do what it does and has done for millions of years – the earth spins on it’s axis – end of story – whatever happens will happen24 April, 2006 at 8:30 am #210490So was it a bunch of slaves that protested – surely we don;t have slaves in Bristol these days ! I know they are a bit behind the rest of the country but surely not that far !
Seriously though – what’s wrong with having a name – that shows how far we have progressed in a relatively short time
I don;t know any history on it but surely a lot of the people protesting wouldn’t even be in this country if their forefathers hadn’t been slaves24 April, 2006 at 8:18 am #209822@slayer wrote:
I would say my post was pretty conclusive and one sided but feel free to disagree-
If you find you can’t say anything without being labelled a racist or homophobic, perhaps you should look at what you’re saying (conclusive enough for you!)- assimilation is a two way street- if you expect people to adapt to “our way of life”- try and meet them half way, and learn theirs too- we’ve just had a Polish shop open up not far from me, first in the whole city….and guess what, my world didnt end because of it.
Mosques harbouring Britain hating terrorists, Catholic churches harbouring Britain hating terrorists! No difference- different decade, different church, same hatred.
You prove my point – the fact that I don’t agree with your opinions then you would label me .
I disagree with assimilation – it’s not 2 way at all – you have to assimilate to the country you move to – not the other way round
It was St Georges day yesterday for what publicity it got !!!
What’s your point about a Polish shop – we have loads of shops run by different nationalities here . No one has got any argument against folks coming here , and working for a living , contributing to society and the economy – that’s fine no problem – just don’t complain about me eating bacon for breakfast , celebrating Christmas or reading nursery rhymes to my kids
21 April, 2006 at 8:27 am #210365The haulage industry is probably the most regulated business in the country . Tachos , regular and intermittent VOSA checks etc etc
The companies who abide by the law are at a disadvantage to companies who flaunt the regulations
Digital tachos have now been enforced upon us in all new vehicles registered on 1st May onwards – no one has a clue how to use or read them – including the police and VOSA !!!!!!21 April, 2006 at 8:09 am #209811Make my mind up Slayer !!!!!!!!!! YOu’re the one that voices all sides of the argument in your posts and never comes to a conclusion
All I’m saying – If you want to live in this country – learn the language , abide by the laws and make an alliegance to the flag .
I have nothing at all against anyone for the colour of the skin – I have loads of mates who folks would class as coloureds
I do have a problem though with Britain hating religious fanatics who are harboured in mosques in this countryThe problem is nowadays you can’t have an opinion without being labelled racist , homophobic , or whatever . The whole things turned too far the feelings and
the traditions of the minorities – ethnic or whatever – are looked after disproportionately by the pc brigade – there is no effort on their behalf to assimilate to this country’s waysIt boils my p1ss – pardon the expression – when schools stop Xmas parties , and ban nursery rhymes , when jews complain about the smell of bacon and eggs from a B & B – this is England these are our ways – of you don’t like it you don;t have to stay
20 April, 2006 at 3:16 pm #210209Well I’m sure Arsenal can beat Barca if they play at the top of their game .
We had another night of Spanish flamenco dancing last night , with Villa players rolling all over the place at the slightest physical contact , I thought the ref did well to ignore most of it -
