broadband won’t make your computer go any faster if there is not enough RAM – RAM is the area where the programs that you are running are held – if your running really slowly and boxes tend to blur into one another , then I think you need more RAM
Go into Control Panel – then SYSTEM – it will tell you your RAM size – anything less than 248 MB will be causing the problem

If your PC is running slow now on Windows 2000 , then it will be a hell of a lot slower if you run it on XP . What’s your memory size Hermann , you probably just need some extra RAM
