Well I’m English and proud of it . We should have built Hadrian’s wall a lot higher and also 50 miles further North – it groups us Northumbrians with the bloody Scots . There should also be a wall along the Welsh border until they learn to speak and write English and Ireland should be towed a bit further out to sea !!!

After reading this thread last week , I personally wasn’t going to watch it . For most of the aforesaid reasons – glorification , dredging up the past etc etc
However I did watch it – and found it compulsive viewing , very well acted – Maxine Peak was superb – and I thought the translation onto tv was brilliantly conceived

May I suggest the “Chat Smoke Detector” which I have patented . It’s like a USB card attachment – but contains a smoke detector device . The connection must be enabled for the patron to chat .

The RAM goes up in steps – usually of 128’s – depends on your pc – it’s fairly cheap now – PC World – which isnt the cheapest – you can get 128MB for about £25 again depending on the type – its just a matter of inserting it in the board next to the current RAM stick – I thin PC World do it onsite for £15 – if you aren’t sure what to do – if they do it and it doesnt work they will refund the money
Probably best if you can get up and around the 500 RAM – if your PC can take it – if not – I’d serioulsy suggest upgrading your PC – if you wish to have a few things running at once – and are looking for downloads – music films etc
