He was probably cheesed off with all the paperwork and frustrated about not being able to do much himself
The whole system is bogged down with administration and beaurocracy – by the time any action happens it is usually too late !!!30 August, 2006 at 9:20 am #238480The programme was called “Real Lives” mary
And it really boiled my piss watching it
All those Head of Social work and sociology professors etc mouthing off about what can and cannot be done
FFS we are talking about young teenage kids who need controlling and support
It all comes back to human rights and silly laws
Kids at 13 and 14 shouldn’t be able to do what they want – if you have to lock them in their rooms , bray the little buggas to get some sense into their heads – surely its best to so that – than to let then get into a downward spiral where drugs and prostitution become the norm
I’m sick of this mamby pamby liberal attitude
Kids need to be taught respect and the difference between right and wrong at an early age – when they earn their human rights – they can have them30 August, 2006 at 7:51 am #237230@Lambrini Girl wrote:
I have repeatedly posted on this forum about my utter bewilderment at man’s capability to hurt man. Even more so when the victim is a child. Having said that, I, like a lot of other posters, awaits the results of the enquiry before passing judgement.
In the eye of a civilised society, the killing of a child is abhorent enough. The killing of one’s own child is incomprehensible. Yet it happens, again and again.

The basic instinct of a mother is to nurture. We cannot comprehend what makes a woman do that to her own child. Surely more effort should be directed to finding out why, rather than to condemn and throw away the key?
As someone pointed out before, to the clear thinking person, the obvious answer to an unwanted child would have been to abandon him somewhere he was sure to be found. which beggars the question … Why was someone that unstable not noticed by anybody in a position to help before the unimaginable happened?
Please let us not be too judgemental … My heart goes out to that poor little soul … But it also goes out to her mother, who, which ever way you look at it, must have been dreadfully failed by someone too, ultimately.
I don’t know how you can quote such examples Lamby – with an obvious sympathy for the mother
She killed her baby – whether depressed or not – it’s no excuse
FFS we use depression as an excuse for anything – it shouldn’t wash – she should be jaied for murder29 August, 2006 at 4:22 pm #237785@likkle tuts wrote:

What the feck is a woman doing commenting on footy ffs – and a toon supporter at that
What’s the world coming too – can you not comment on x-stitchin or synchronised swimming or rampant rabbit positions ???29 August, 2006 at 4:11 pm #237228@giggles wrote:
It’s all very sad yeah but highlights the fact that we should follow Hollands lead and install baby drop off points at hospitals, that’s asuming the baby was alive when abandoned. I know many people who would give their right arm for a baby and this way would reduce the chances of healthy babies dying needlessly because the mother was too scared to come forward.
Why hospitals ????/ Why not you local Asda or tesco ffs
We bend over backward to help people these days – ffs baby drop off points – what next – free copulation point beds – next to a free 24 hour abortion service
Jeeez peoples attitiudes these days – does no one take any responsibility any more !!!!!

FFS Martins scored 9 goals in 28 games last season
WOW – how prolific – but hold on he socred 2 goals in 8 Champions League matches as well
WOW again – i’m impressed – no wonder Inter put him about 5th in the pecking order this season
I bet you rate Adriano though, yeh? He played all of last season and scored 13 goals..Martins barely played last season, due to huge injuries and what not..How can you even comment when you haven’t ever seen him play a full 90 minutes?
Oh yeh..He is so cr.ap
Has ANYONE seem him play for 90 minutes – Seems like he had another HUGE injury on Sunday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You probably don’t even know the rules of Football
You’re watching too much foreign shyte Robbo – it’s more like ballet dancing ant frefall diving than footy
Bores me sick – when you get 2 Italian teams or Spanish teams playing – its all a charade – feckin fairies
They re the biggest cheats out – diving feigning injury – and my biggest bug bear – is shirt pulling – its total cheating
I hoped when the ref gave Chelsea a penalty – there woudl be more awarded to stamp it out – but what does the ref do – lets a blatant shirt pull on Roberts in the penalty are go unpunishedNot to worry – the Toon are shyte – the Boro are slowly going down to their level – AND ROY AND THE MACKEMS ARE ON THE WAY UP
KEANO KEANO KEANO
