Not all of them Arty – just the tossers like Robbo
Have you seen who West Ham are signing – what a coup if it comes off Tevez and Mascherano from Argentina
Bloody hell – tevez was my pick of the players from the world Cup – although Robbo probably thought it was Ruud Van man or Martins !!!!!!!!!!!!

Omg costs me a fortune about 5 items per month grrrrr. I usually buy a prepay yearly card for £95. Gotta admit after 3-4 months it has paid for itself.

What the feck is a woman doing commenting on footy ffs – and a toon supporter at that
What’s the world coming too – can you not comment on x-stitchin or synchronised swimming or rampant rabbit positions ???She probably knows more about football than you, dumb nuts
Coming from a Man U supporter and a guy that watches foreign cack thats fine !!!!
There are 1 or 2 foreign players that are or were a joy to watch over here – Bergkamp , Henry , Ronaldo at times , Cantona
Others have been huge disappointments – Ruud Van the man for one , Kluivert , Luque , Asprilla , MARTINS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PMLRuud only notched up over 20 goals per season for United . Yes, that is terrible .
Lets not forget when he notched up over 40 goals for United in one season..Again, it proves that you are a biased fan who knows nothing about footballers, or football
As for Martins being poor in the premier league…He has ONLY played one game, you idiot…You have a nack for making yourself look an idiot…Why do you keep replying? Because you are degrading yourself with every reply you post
Isn’t it funny how the majority you listed as disappointments all played for Newcastle, or play for them? Again, it proves that you are a biased fan who can’t accept that your neighbours are a better football team.
oF COURSE i AM A BIASED FAN – you stupid jerk – most fans are – thats not MAN U fans who live in other countries of 100’s of miles from Manchester – it’s local fans who are passionate about their club – of course they are biased – you know nothing about being a proper fan
Sunderland fans are amongst the fairest in the country – they appreciate good play from the opposition
Newcastle fans are the most biased there are – the way they treat some of their ex heroes when they return with another club is diabolical – I’m thinking the likes of peter beardsley , andy cole etc here
Saying that they are passionate too – but totally blinkered – unlike MAn U fans and their corporate prawn sandwichesMAn U have started brialliantly this season – but they haven’t played any notewoprthy team yet – lets hope the Premiership carries on as it has started witha few upsets
Look at Boro – beating Chelsea – then getting stuffed off Portsmouth at home !!! Portsmouth wil do well this season – Kanu has been a revelation and Redknapp has made a few shrewd signings – not least Andy Cole who looks set for the South Coast

We should have a near zero alcohol limit for driving, allowing for no more than a residual trace.
So mamy people that go binge drinking one night get behind the wheel the next morning, unaware that they are still over the limit. It would be interesting to see the results of random breath tests on drivers on their way to work on a Monday morning.
Probably most people who had been drinking the night before would fail a breath test – it takes 12 hours doesn’t it to clear the system !!
If you are caught drink driving then make it a 3 year or 5 year ban – then the police can get on with doing something about bringing law and order to the communitiesBetter still have a Transport Police to take care of transport matters – looking at the power now handed to VOSA perhaps they could tackle that !

Only 52 people in that one evening were found to be over the legal drink drive limit? Wow we should throw out the drink drive limit altogether so everyone can drink as much as they like and drive home. After all, people drive better after a few drinks eh?
It’s one thing to complain about police being out only to enforce seat belt laws or something comparitively minor, but to complain because the police are enforcing drink drive laws just shows that you haven’t thought the issues through either due to arrogance or a lack of intellectual ability.
Why the personal attack – I’m only voicing my opinion
I have nothing against police arresting drunken drivers – howevere I pointed out they probably wouldn’t be drunk – just over whatever is the legal limit
It’s the other 1600 that I was on about

Drunk drivers deserve to be clamped down on. Who cares if they kill themselves – the problem however is that a lot of the time they also kill innocent people who happened to get in their way.
Only 52 out of 1700 were for drink or drug driving – 3% – thats not to say they were drunk – but were over the legal limit
No one was killed – or was reported killed – its just another easy day persecuting the motorist – whilst more serious criminals get away with everything30 August, 2006 at 4:28 pm #236482@pikey wrote:
People, especially on these boards, often argue that Britain’s criminal justice system isn’t working and is doing the nation a disservice. This article about a new book, A Land Fit for Criminals, seems to be a well reasoned defence of this position. It’s not necessarily specifically critical about the present government, more an institutionalised attitude we’ve had for decades.
Do you agree with the article? Does Britain’s justice system need a complete redesigning or is the status quo*, while not perfect, about as good as we can muster and not a bad old pickle?
* No jokes required about them needing a few new chords, thank you.
Just read this post Pikester – the book certainly seems interesting in it’s summary – I shal see if the local bookshops have it in stock
