You have all got it wrong about Hargreaves – he’s a bit of a work horse – does the donkey work okay – but put him up against a world class midfielder he’ll be taken apart – you can’t count the last 2 matches against poor opposition
I still think Gerrard is better out wide – he needs more room – when the middle of the park is congested he’s not as effective – as he like to run at people
Lennon is still learning – although he could be a great player one day – it’s all head down and charge for the line
Most premership left backs have him sussed – he’s not half as effective for SpursOur problem is we don’t have a great midfielder in England – someone to put his foot on the ball in the middle of the park – Platini style – or to a lesser effect Hoddle style
