I almost forgot the science teacher (Mr Walton), he would make you bend over and whack you with a size 10 plimsoll that had the letter ‘W’ cut out of the sole, like branding cattle! :shock: :lol: :lol:

It’s fair to say “if the penalty hadn’t been awarded” A goal makes a big difference to a side – not just in the obvious scoreline – but in terms of confidence and freedom of play . The longer a team goes without scoring when they have the bulk of possesion the more frustrated they get , the more mistakes slip in , the more depserate they get , trying to score from distance rather than working a goal
All i’m saying is if the referee hadn’t given the penalty – which was never a penalty in a milion years I think Celtic woudl have had a chance of at least a draw
