In principle it sounds like a good idea to me, even if it doesn’t work in practice.
Do we agree that the welfare system is bloated and needs to be cut down to size, in the interests of the continued solvency of the country?
And yet;
Vouchers instead of benefits? Uproar!
Cuts to housing benefit? Outrage!
Streamline child benefit? Oh my God!!!
A thankless task for any politician indeed. All I can say is how galling it is when you see the jobless go off on holiday to Turkey for 2 weeks. How angry it makes you feel when you see them roll up with an outrageously big flatscreen TV and home cinema system.
Jealousy on my part? Oh yes.Fair society for the genuinely needy? Absolutely. But also fairness for those to do graft bloody hard for a living for very little reward.
Lynch me now….

If I woke up next to the above person for a second time than I’d certainly harm myself!
3 July, 2012 at 5:40 pm #501608Where I live the gravy has the consistency of freshly laid tarmac. The curry sauce is kind of like something that’s thrown up and the mushy peas get carved off a block with a chainsaw!
Gross!

Gravy on chips is just wrong
3 July, 2012 at 5:21 pm #176946I’d phone his mum and ask her to kindly come and fetch the dirty boy!
Then perhaps I’d harm myself…..
3 July, 2012 at 5:06 pm #500269Sounds like the old internet divide is creeping in here. Whats unacceptable in real life is ok because its online.

All the mother actually did wrong in this case was lie
Wouldn’t the internet be a better place if people did less of that? Lie. Pipe dream of course. If this woman has a conscience than she bears the burden of remorse for the rest of her life. If she couldn’t give a **** then she’s back online with a new identity doing the same old stuff. Its an extreme case of the same sort of **** we see frequently in these chat rooms.
Seems like people type rubbish and get into situations without thinking about the consequences. How could you prove it anyway? Locating via IP isn’t that easy and then you have to prove that the person was actually at the computer.

How can something that isn’t acceptable in a face to face situation be acceptable in an online situation? Whether it’s this case, online bullying, goading someone to commit suicide , threatening behaviour…if it’s not acceptable face to face then it shouldn’t be acceptable online should it?
Couldn’t agree more.
Internet accountability is nice in theory but what would happen if it became law? Every second person would be going to the authorities claiming to be a victim of some internet crime. Eventually someone will demand financial compensation and then the flood gates will open and the whole thing becomes a ludicrous cashcow for compensation cowboy firms.
As has been said this is simply about taking responsibility for your own actions, but it will never change. You will always get the players as much as you will always get the abusers.
Just because something isn’t illegal doesn’t mean that its right!
28 June, 2012 at 6:58 pm #500232I’m not sure sure how such a creature as this, with blood on his hands, ended up sitting in a governing assembly as opposed to a jail cell but there you go.
I guess there are some things you have to swallow for the greater good, for that you have to admire the Queen. It does make me wonder if Prince Phillip was asked to do this. His fondness for Mountbatten is well known so I can guess what his answer would’ve been.
Personally the sight of the man makes my skin crawl

To be fair this thread (especially the title of it) is not far short of bullying and it should be removed or locked.
But because it is online that fact seems to get over looked.
If you have a problem with somebody that’s fair enough but why splash it across the boards.
Sorry to hear you are banned Shiddy, F1 won’t be the same without you. What did you do lol :lol:Shame you said nothing when it was your mate dishing it out on other threads.
But then its always different when its someone you like doing it isn’t it.Justchat in a nutshell right there!!
Can’t believe someone got banned lol. When I think of all the complete mongoloids who have gone about their business unchecked over the years….
Shiddy you naughty boy you musta been badddd!!18 June, 2012 at 7:14 pm #499242@tinks wrote:
….we’ve just got a young guy here full of life, humour and someone who’s not afraid to laugh at himself……..good on ya danny! :D/
And who has a tendency to insult and abuse….
I have to say I’m enjoying the whole Tinks/Danny dynamic.
Tinks is kind of like the loving, tolerant mother who’s just found her boy knocking one out over the latest issue of Nuts (see other thread). Patting him on the head “there, there son here’s 50p now go and get yourself some chewits!”Dunno how much Chewits actually cost these days, I’m just guessing. Perhaps Danny could fill us in??
