Yes it is Sian and it looks like they have kissed and made up until the next time.
How did you think she stole him back from her mum?
Do you think she sent him a pic of her pet cat?

Well it will only get worse pb……….
Women will spend less time working and more time on the phones.
Call plans will get cheaper……… Someone did offer me 2000 min per month for only £15 per month only last week.
But with the down turn anyone who’s in middle management or manufacturing will have a hard time.
Computer sales are down…[Read more]

This has nothing to do with mobile phones, more to do with greedy banks. If they didn’t offer people 6 times there income on a interest only mortgage we wouldn’t be in this mess.
Has far has the oil and gas prices ago, I am more than happy to see them high.
For a long time we have been arguing for better “home heating systems”, we all kno…[Read more]

Well from my point of view.
My accountants are telling me inflation is running at about 12%, not the 5% government figure.
I have seen 7 “new build projects” cancelled this month and our sub business of kitchens and bathrooms has seen a down turn.
I have employment agent offering me staff at reduced rates
For the first time in many years I a…[Read more]

Ok its a Packard bell laptop.
Hit this

Pop in your computer serial number, (its on the bottom of the laptop.)
Then look for “product downloads”

Well the problem we faced has a company was we were spending too much time on computer maintenance. I think the system were down about 2 hours a day for back-ups and ant virus scans.
So I did bring in an outside “IT” company to up date and improve our working systems.
The “point of sale” invoicing and credit payment system has work using l…[Read more]

Right just been off the phone to them.
To meet the requirements of the dada protection act, all files are encoded and secured with “magic card”. Back-up’s are on a continuous loop to our on-line service sever using encrypted compressed dada stream. No backs up are held on your company premises encase of theft, fraud or mis…

Your right that does seem a bit small.
Will have to investigated and find out why its so small.
I know we have 5 hard drives in the sever, but after our upgrade 2 years ago, not sure how the current office system works.

dead_on_arrvial replied to the topic CD/DVD v. USB memory sticks in the board Technical Q&A 16 years, 7 months ago
But I still can’t see anyone needing a 8GB stick.
Unless you have loads of music or tons of software, why would yo need anything over 1GB
I did look at our office hard driv and in the last 5 years we have only use 340mb for work files.

dead_on_arrvial replied to the topic CD/DVD v. USB memory sticks in the board Technical Q&A 16 years, 7 months ago
That is true, but if you need to move all your files, lets say for presentation, you are better off with a portable hard drive.
Saying that, i do know of a remote access program that will let you work and use any file on your computer from anywhere in the world.
I think if your only doing back ups, one hit dvd’s are the best way of doing it.

dead_on_arrvial replied to the topic clean install in the board Technical Q&A 16 years, 7 months ago
Here the main problem.
There are minimum system requirements for operating systems like windows xp and vista.
Windows xp
500Mhz chip
512mb Ram
4 gig hard drive
Windows Vista
Dual Core chip
2 Gb ram
20 gig hard drive.
If the computer you are using now, dont meet the system requirements, you are wasting your time.
If this was…[Read more]

Look, your computer is working has well as PB nob.
Face up to facts, a quick 2 min bang and its game over for the of the night.
Replace it while it’s still working, if you don’t you could lose every thing on it for good.
