18 November, 2005 at 5:40 am #138992Sometimes Im in the mood, I wanna leave my lonesome home
And sometimes Im in the mood, I wanna hear my milk cow moan
And sometimes Im in the mood, I wanna hit the highway road
But then again, but then again, I said oh, I said oh, I said
Oh babe, Im in the mood for you.Sometimes Im in the mood, lord, I had my overflowin fill
Sometimes Im in the mood, Im gonna make out my final will
Sometimes Im in the mood, Im gonna head for the walkin hill
But then again, but then again, I said oh, I said oh, I said
Oh babe, Im in the mood for you.Sometimes Im in the mood, I wanna lay right down and die
Sometimes Im in the mood, I wanna climb up to the sky
Sometimes Im in the mood, Im gonna laugh until I cry
But then again, I said again, I said again, I said
Oh babe, Im in the mood for you.Sometimes Im in the mood, Im gonna sleep in my ponys stall
Sometimes Im in the mood, I aint gonna do nothin at all
Sometimes Im in the mood, I wanna fly like a cannon ball
But then again, but then again, I said oh, I said oh, I said
Oh babe, Im in the mood for you.Sometimes Im in the mood, I wanna back up against the wall
Sometimes Im in the mood, I wanna run till I have to crawl
Sometimes Im in the mood, I aint gonna do nothin at all
But then again, but then again, I said oh, I said oh, I said
Oh babe, Im in the mood for you.Sometimes Im in the mood, I wanna change my house around
Sometimes Im in the mood, Im gonna make a change in this here
town
Sometimes Im in the mood, Im gonna change the world around
But then again, but then again, I said oh, I said oh, I said
Oh babe, Im in the mood for you.
16 November, 2005 at 7:57 pm #125716there is a certain chill in the air
that hints of the ghosts of autumn
lingering as if not wanting
to leave their homei shiver in the cold breeze
as the sun seems to melt
into an almost frozen ground
leaving a shadow of autumn behindthe once azure sky has turned ashen
as the season changes
promising storms that cleanse the air
ready for springthe silver moon shines down
on natures landscape whispering
i shall be your guiding light
until the sun awakes from slumberit is at times like this
when simply breathing is not enough
you want to reach out and feel
natures rhythmic heartbeats for yourself.14 November, 2005 at 8:01 pm #138989sting, its from his sacred love album :)
14 November, 2005 at 7:02 pm #138987Whenever I say your name, whenever I call to mind your face
Whatever bread’s in my mouth, whatever the sweetest wine that I
taste
Whenever your memory feeds my soul, whatever got broken becomes
whole
Whenever I’m filled with doubts that we will be togetherWherever I lay me down, wherever I put my head to sleep
Whenever I hurt and cry, whenever I got to lie awake and weep
Whenever I kneel to pray, whenever I need to find a way
I’m calling out your nameWhenever those dark clouds hide the moon
Whenever this world has gotten so strange
I know that something’s gonna change
Something’s gonna changeWhenever I say your name, Whenever I say your name, I’m already
praying, I’m already praying
I’m already filled with a joy that I can’t explain
Wherever I lay me down, wherever I rest my weary head to sleep
Whenever I hurt and cry, whenever I got to lie awake and weep
Whenever I’m on the floor
Whatever it was that I believed before
Whenever I say your name, whenever I say it loud, I’m already
prayingWhenever this world has got me down, whenever I shed a tear
Whenever the TV makes me mad, whenever I’m paralyzed with fear
Whenever those dark clouds fill the sky, whenever I lose the
reason why
Whenever I’m filled with doubts that we will be togetherWhenever the sun refuse to shine, whenever the skies are pouring
rain
Whatever I lost I thought was mine whenever I close my eyes in
pain
Whenever I kneel to pray, whenever I need to find a way
I’m calling out your nameWhenever this dark begins to fall
Whenever I’m vulnerable and small
Whenever I feel like I could die
Whenever I’m holding back the tears that I cryWhenever I say your name, whenever I call to mind your face
I’m already praying
Whatever bread’s in my mouth, whatever the sweetest wine that I
taste
Wherever I lay me down, wherever I rest my weary head to sleep
Whenever I hurt and cry, whenever I’m forced to lie awake and
have to weep
Whenever I’m on the floor
Whatever it was that I believed before
Whenever I say your name, whenever I say it loud, I’m already
prayingWhenever I say your name,
No matter how long it takes,
One day we’ll be togetherWhenever I say your name,
let there be no mistake
that day will last forever13 November, 2005 at 9:17 pm #138985Let me watch by the fire and remember my days
And it may be a trick of the firelight
But the flickering pages that trouble my sight
Is a book I’m afraid to writeIt’s the book of my days, it’s the book of my life
And it’s cut like a fruit on the blade of a knife
And it’s all there to see as the section reveals
There’s some sorrow in every lifeIf it reads like a puzzle, a wondering maze
Then I won’t understand ’til the end of my days
I’m still forced to remember,
Remember the words of my lifeThere are promises broken and promises kept
Angry words that were spoken, when I should have wept
There’s a chapter of secrets, and words to confess
If I lose everything that I possess
There’s a chapter on loss and a ghost who won’t die
There’s a chapter on love where the ink’s never dry
There are sentences served in a prison I built out of liesThough the pages are numbered
I can’t see where they lead
For the end is a mystery no one can read
In the book of my lifeThere’s a chapter on fathers a chapter on sons
There are pages of conflicts that nobody won
And the battles you lost and your bitter defeat
There’s a page where we fail to meetThere are tales of good fortune that couldn’t be planned
There’s a chapter on God that I don’t understand
There’s a promise of Heaven and Hell but I’m damned if I seeThough the pages are numbered
I can’t see where they lead
For the end is a mystery no one can read
In the book of my lifeNow the daylight’s returning
And if one sentence is true
All these pages are burning
And all that’s left is youThough the pages are numbered
I can’t see where they lead
For the end is a mystery no one can read
In the book of my life7 November, 2005 at 5:15 am #125715a million images form dancing behind closed lids
frost covered meadows crisp underfoot
beautiful sunsets watching lovers kiss
dark peaceful places dreaming of lightin the darkness they are a sanctuary
a haven of tranquility, safe and comforting
i close my eyes and i feel the warmth
of a million images dancing behind closed lids7 November, 2005 at 5:01 am #138981Some like wine and some like hops
but what I really love is my scotch
It’s the power, the power of positive drinkingSome people ruin their drinks with ice
and then they, they ask you for advice
They tell you, “I’ve never told anyone this before”They say: “Candy is dandy but liquor makes quipsters.”
and I don’t like mixers, or sippers or sob sisters,
You know, you have to be real careful where you sit down
in a bar these daysAnd then some people drink to unleash their libidos
and other people drink to prop up their egos
It’s my burdon, man, people say
I have the kind of face you can trustThe pow pow pow pow power of positive drinking X5
Some people say, alcohol makes you less lucid
and think that’s true if you’re kind of stupid
I’m not that kind that get’s himself burned twiceAnd some say liquor kills the cells in your head
and for that matter so does getting out of bed
When I exit, I’ll go out gracefully, shot in my handThe pow pow pow pow power of positive drinking
6 November, 2005 at 11:12 pm #152523i have just finished watching Sin City.
based on the graphic novels by Frank Miller, this film noir is a classic. it is gloriously grim and deliciously dark, with some subtle humour added. it is brutal, crude and somewhat trashy, and that is what makes it such a good film in my opinion. it is visually striking due to its black and white imagery, offset with the clever use of coloured segments. i would highly reccomend this film to anyone.
