I’ve been there, joes ice cream has to be the best in the world. 8), the beaches arent too bad either. didnt actually go out drinking in mumbles tho, we ended up in flares in swansea. my mates aging mother (shes 60 something) put the rest of us to shame by dancing all night and the lucky girl pulled a rather nice looking lad as well. 8)

25 January, 2006 at 8:18 pm #139056A stone’s throw from Jerusalem
I walked a lonely mile in the moonlight
And though a million stars were shining
My heart was lost on a distant planet
That whirls around the April moon
Whirling in an arc of sadness
I’m lost without you, I’m lost without youThough all my kingdoms turn to sand and fall into the sea
I’m mad about you, I’m mad about youAnd from the dark secluded valleys
I heard the ancient songs of sadness
But every step I thought of you
Every footstep only you
Every star a grain of sand
The leavings of a dried up ocean
Tell me, how much longer,
How much longer? They say a city in the desert lies
The vanity of an ancient king
But the city lies in broken pieces
Where the wind howls and the vultures sing
These are the works of man
This is the sum of our ambition
It would make a prison of my life
If you became another’s wifeWith every prison blown to dust, my enemies walk free
I’m mad about you, I’m mad about youAnd I have never in my life
Felt more alone than I do now
Although I claim dominions over all I see
It means nothing to me
There are no victories
In all our histories
Without loveA stone’s throw from Jerusalem
I walked a lonely mile in the moonlight
And though a million stars were shining
My heart was lost on a distant planet
That whirls around the April moon
Whirling in an arc of sadness
I’m lost without you, I’m lost without youAnd though you hold the keys to ruin of everything I see
With every prison blown to dust, my enemies walk free
Though all my kingdoms turn to sand and fall into the sea
I’m mad about you, I’m mad about you.25 January, 2006 at 8:09 pm #178300Some prices are just too high, no matter how much you may want the prize. The one thing you can’t trade for your heart’s desire is your heart.

25 January, 2006 at 7:19 pm #125727last night in my dreams my eyes
had a sad dejected look in them
blind to what i dont want to see
somehow i lost my faith in life
as tho something or someone stole my soul
like a butterfly in her cocoon
i am re-emerging, reborn and new
unsteady on my feet but strong enough
to hold my own, i shall spread my wings
in flight, from all that is and shall be.
unsure of where i am going or why, but i know
i shall never have that look in my eyes again. -
