They were never firing. I felt they may improve as the tournament went on but not this year! Usually Germany is so methodical, dunno what happened to them. This world cup looks pretty open. I think I’ll stick to the horses!

I backed them at 8/1 after they lost their first game and again at 10/1 when they were drawing 1-1 in their last game. They’re around 7s now. And they won the last world cup. I’ve backed them each-way so if they get to the final I will get 1/2 of the odds. so in effect 4/1 and 5/1 to get to the final. And 8/1 and 10/1 to win it. Good bet I think.

Time travel into the past is impossible for several reasons not least because of causality. A form of *relative* time travel into the future is possible (and actually occurs already on very small scales) due to time dilation.
