I know PB, all these freeloaders on here are bleeding me dry!
29 October, 2005 at 12:20 am #159846I was being serious! I mean just the other day a guy came up to me in the street, said if I gave him my Switch card and PIN he would transfer £50,000 into my account. I obviously gave him the card and PIN. Any day now I am gonna be rich.
29 October, 2005 at 12:11 am #159844This is completely genuine. Send him whatever he asks for. You dont know him so he MUST be trustworthy right?

They do but only because they are a sort of optical illusion (called Simeon Triangles) and appear to follow Euclidean rules – they don’t actually do so.
The two shapes are not identical since the two triangles do not have the same slope. The picture of the triangle with the space actually has a bulge on the hypotenuse which takes up one additional square.
Put another way (and Pikey was spot on in his reply) the area of the whole shape is 32.5 (5×13 / 2). The areas of each individual triangle are 5 (2×5 / 2) and 12 (8×3 / 2). Together the areas of the two triangles amount to 17 leaving only 15.5 remaining into which to fit the two rectangular shapes. As one of them is 16 (8×2) and the other is 15 (5×3) the drawing in BOTH cases is not technically possible. In fact the drawing takes the average (15.5) of the area and divides it unequally to create the illusion.

I bet you are fun on a date PB. Your poor wife…… ;)
23 October, 2005 at 5:44 pm #157618I think he was busy ‘busying’ himself whilst lurking in the background. Hence the lack of a response……
21 October, 2005 at 8:43 pm #154692Cmon people, 100 pages of crap is normally produced faster than this. I am a little disappointed in you all.
17 October, 2005 at 9:28 am #155886Ah bros…. surprised no-one has admiteed to any Rick Astley yet… or is that pushing tastes a little TOO far?!?
16 October, 2005 at 2:34 pm #155921I am no great fan of Bush, however I got half way through that film and closed the window – too much boring cliched sentiment that I have heard time and time again.
As for Bush causing 9/11 how the hell is that possible when he had only just gotten into office?
Just the same old statements designed to create a reaction amongst the undeducated who cannot see things from both sides.
For some more originality, and one of the best films I have ever seen online, go here:
16 October, 2005 at 11:56 am #153507I have a brief statement to make. I have since discovered that AB is not, as I initially thought, old.
She is positively decrepit!
16 October, 2005 at 11:55 am #153557Hmmm post made on 16 October. The day after I banned PB from running through Forum 3 dressed only in his pink thong bikini. Sorry guys……
