Oh yeah! English is not my first language despite having spent half my life learning it (still learning it every day really…. :D ….. I’m Brazilian…So, Portuguese is my native language…sometimes I say I’m Portuguese cause I’ve got Portuguese (as well as Spanish and Italian ) ancestry…but I’m actually Brazilian…as my parents…my grandparents were the ones who immigrated to Brazil a log time ago…. :lol: :lol:

“Preta”…(Preetah)…it’s a very nice way to refer to a dark (tanned or black) being (animal, human, whatever..)… in my language…popular….as well as “branca” if it’s mainly white…
