dont know how old some of you are lol…….or if you even relate to this ……….i miss ‘the weekend starts here…….rlol ready steady go ‘ or some such name rushin home on a friday night to watch it…….miss crackjack with those young kids tryin to balance there goodies…..miss wagon wheels being bigger tuts …….oooooo and i used to have a doll that used to go to the dolls hospital every christmas and come back as good as new…..spose they would have called it a makeover now lol………errmmm miss lots but i wont go on……..and now? well i am making the most of life so i dont miss a minute ……..enjoyin it while its here…..oooooo miss the confidence of youth a bit too lol

The thing is i beleive we have all become a wee bit de-sensatised with violence on the tiv. years ago whenever there was anything ‘usuitable’ on the tv i like ruby was sent up the stairs to bed………tv or films were not so graphic as they are now

who amongst you remembers the 911 footage?? did you think you were watching a disaster movie??? a few years ago the irish people attacked a couple of guys in a car…….etc.

the one comment i will make there was a documentary on a couple of years ago about the moors murderers adn my youngest now 21 watched it. she commented to me that she was glad in a way she had because she didnt understand why hindley and brady were constantly in the news and why people campaigned for hindley never to be released……..

drama??? bout the moors murders??? no and no apologies i will never understand why and i wont be able to comment on the actual programme because i dont have stomach enough to watch it ………

however, i defend the right of personal choice and will be interested in any comments by any of you that do watch it on tuesday

Racism……….who starts it ………adults!!!

someon i knew years ago had her 6 year old son coming home from school night after night going on about his new best freind Jimmy…….

He begged his mum to let him invite Jimmy round one day after school and in the end she said she would see Jimmys mum outside the school gate that day and arrange something….the kids piled out of school…….in the middle of the hoards of kids (all ‘white’) was a young black 6 year old……….her son tugged and pulled on her hand begging her to hurry and shouting ………’thats Jimmy!!!! the one in the blue jumper!!! Jimmy? was the only black boy in the crowd xx

ugo save your emotions for something that really matters……sitting in queue and someone going in before you is not in the scheme of things that important, i am a great believer in whats meant to be is meant to be and you are in this life where you are supposed to be at that time…..and Ugo this may seem like a strange point to make, but you were not supposed to see the adviser before the asian gentleman…..for what ever reason …………important to me? things like human trafficking young women being sold into prostitution……child abuse…….drug dealers selling drugs outside schools …..

yeah yeah i aint no do gooder wont sit here like miss world saying i want to save the world cos thats ni on impossible………but Ugo i do the best in my corner of the world ….but reality is anger is a wasted emotion but if you are gonna get angry channel it into something constructive……..me? dont get angry particularly …..dissapointed, sad sometimes but not angry very much…….you know wot i would like as the anniversary of me mums death comin up……5 minutes extra in some queue while some person jumps in before me and to spend those unexpected 5 minutes saying goodbye to me mum………properly xx

i get a bit miffed about all these so called experts compiling reports on how people should live ….as far as kids are concerned let em be kids and make choices :roll: …..adults install prejudices into kids……
