For those of you that read my ealier posts on this thread news at last…….this made me smile ……. :lol: i have cut n pasted the email i received this morning….so heres hoping that J’s ‘prickly sister’ will contact me ……

this email is from j’s friend in dubai……….oooooooooo smilin i have edited the names out to protect the guilty :lol:

Hi Catherine,

At last ***** (Js sister) has been in touch by telephone and to tell
you the truth I had an uneasy time with her! she tells me that J’s asked her to ring. He is at her home resting and waiting for surgery which cannot proceed until his apparently
astronomically high BP is reduced. She told me he is under mild sedation and spends
the days reading and watching tv. It sounds nothing like the J I know!!!!!!!
She was unable to give any timescale for the operation which I suppose
may be a bye pass (A guess)

It seems as if she is protecting him from outside pressure which is probably
natural but is showing it in a strange way. I gave her your mobile number
and time will tell if you hear anything, she refuses to give me her
contact number, saying she is ex directory and never gives it to anyone!

A right Prickly thing!!! I feel sorry for him forced to live with her,
but I suppose he has to be thankful she is there.

You now have the latest news, I think he must be reasonably OK or
otherwise he would be in hospital. I never knew he had high BP, he certainly
looked after himself well here but that is perhaps why!

I will keep in touch.

Please try not to worry too much.
