I think the whole scenario is a tragedy, and it is easy to critise someones personal life when they are not here to defend themselves. I do not condone the crimes he committed, to take a life is wrong without a doubt… but something must have lead him to this. We are in no postion to judge, we cannot believe the media hype, they are just out to sell papers and any cost. I feel for Angus (who was in my brothers class at school too), because not only has he got to come to terms with his loss and the actions of his brother, some of the public are now labelling him a bad guy… these people disgust me. Poor man.
Why shouldn’t his ex be “cashing in”? After the stuff she encountered daily because of that man then surely she deserves something good in her life now to keep her going, and to provide for her and her kids future’s. I know I certainly would welcome some extra cash, esp if it meant sharing her story about violence and abuse, and letting people know that it can and does happen.
The point is Cass, we only have her word that these things happened to her!
