Someone made a comment on the Times article on this. They said that the mother was equally to blame in this instance, and I agree!

She was unable to collect her son from this club as she’d been delayed at work. Another parent, who knew the child had offered to take him home, but the jobsworth club worker didn’t allow it, but left the child to walk the considerable distance home along unlit country lanes. Nevertheless, is the mother so caught up in her job that she can’t make alternative arrangements for her 12 year old? So, despite there being a seemingly lack of common sense, his mother is the one ultimately to blame for her sons situation.

I agree Susie. That way, death would no doubt come to them, but it’d be slow and painful

I think it should be crucify and then behead!

I don’t ANC,,,,,there must be enough deserted islands where the only way on or off is by boat…..drop them off, give them enough to live on to start with and provisions to grow their own stuff, if they dont, they starve. The only people they can hurt then are each other

    I totally agree Sarah.

These CRB checks are only ever a good thing if a persons history is declared and as we all know, there have been so many cases, too many! where the complete history hasn’t been declared and abusers have gotten positions they’ve no business having.

ANC has a point also. Employing people to look after children who are from overseas. Yea a CRB check can be run on them here, but would it take into account their previous history from their own country. Or in this case, is it going to come down to parents who hire Au Pairs, Nannys etc., having to have strategically placed camera’s around thier homes to check that their children are being cared for and not abused. I’m happy to not have to be in that situation, it must be a nightmare.
