Everyone is entitled to believe what they want to believe. I’m not saying that religion is a bad thing for everyone, if it suits you (and I mean ‘you’ in the general term) fine! It doesn’t suit me, it’ll never suit me again.

I know some people who go to church each week, go to confession prior to mass, take holy communion, god forgives them and they spend all the next 7 days being as big an a@sehole if not bigger, until saturday comes around again, and its time for yet another confession, and another forgiveness. So you’ll have to excuse my cynicism Pete but most so called ”christians” I know, are complete and utter prats!

Cliff Richard being gay or not isn’t the issue here anyway. I don’t care personally, whether he is or he isn’t because Pete at least seems to have the opinion that i’m ‘queer bashing’ as they call it, judging by his post about Cliff not disgusing his sexual orientation so he must be gay mentality!

I hold the opinion, and always have, of live and let let, I don’t care what others do, how other people choose to live their lives is their business! not mine!,,,,,,,,,I merely pointed out that he doesn’t follow his christianity to the letter, whether he’s gay or not, he has very strong views on same sex partnerships and thinks that the church should be more accepting, which isn’t, strictly speaking, following his christianity to the letter, because most religions don’t and never will, accept homosexuality!!! and that is a fact!

That total hypocrisy is the main reason I no longer follow any kind of religion.

Iv’e recently written what iv’e called a ‘wish list’. Iv’e sent the file via email to a very good, very close freind of mine. Things to do, things that i’ll not have any say over at that time because i’ll no longer have a voice, so iv’e voiced it now.

Ok Pete. Myra Hindley was a born again christian, or so she claimed anyway, during her incarceration. What I think is pretty irrelavent tbh, about her or her so called christianity

Cliff Richard is also a born again christian, but ”lives by its teachings”? I don’t think so Pete. Don’t most religions condemn homosexuality as not natural or not the norm then and a sin, or is there one that agrees with it that iv’e not heard of. That! by the way, isn’t in any way condeming him for being gay, I don’t particularly care which side he ‘bats’ for but he is a homosexual, so he doesnt live by its teachings then does he!
