On the other hand……I am 5’10, and am constantly asked at supermarkets to get things down from high shelves….. :D
And getting trousers isn’t easy – I need a 33″ inside leg, and standard shop sizes are 29 or 30″, so I am limited as to where I can shop.
:D :D
Awww Squeezy……………have you tried Next or Wallis’s, they do long length, although they can be a bit pricey :( if you have a shop too called Mark One, near you, they do up to 34inch inside leg too, and not as expensive as the other two.I’m 5’5 but I have more leg than body and I normally have to go for 32 inside leg, so I know the feeling grrrrrrrrrr

I’m not a fan of London, in fact I don’t really like big cities at all, but London is the prime example. I don’t particuarly like going there without reason. People are cold, they will tread on anyone to get to their destination first. It’s dirty, unfriendly, overcrowded, too busy and it’s survival. However it is also the centre of entertainment and a must place to go if you want to have a good time.
Whenever I go to London, I either come back feeling dirty and metaphorically beaten up, or I come back having had a great time going to whatever destination I have been to. But as soon as I hit my home town I can breath again. people talk to me in a civilised fashion. It’s a smaller community where people generally get on and smile at each other, none of this dog eat dog scenario. It may only have three pubs and not so much interaction, but it’s home and I feel involved and comfortable. But I’ll go to bed thinking about my big night out in the big dirty city.
You need a small place, but without the big place what a dull world we would live in. Find a smaller online community if you get tired of what goes on at JC, but you will go back to the big place because it has a buzz the smaller place can only offer in small chunks. The small place always feels more relaxed but we all need that buzz sometimes
.
=D> =D> =D> well put geoff.
Seconded
I’m someone who comes from the city where the streets are paved with gold (Not!!).
Have to agree with Geoff too on this one, London is theeeeee most unfreindly place on the planet, it’s often a case of survival of the fittest
I grew up in the east end of London, in a different era to now though, and without giving away too much of my age  Oh what the hell  i’m 58 n proud of it, but it was a whole different London then to the one it is now. Iv’e lost count of the number of pple on here whov’e said, around christmas time, ohhhhhh are you going shopping in the west end!!! HELL NOO!!! lol, I stay as far away as possible.
Rant for the day over ……………..and out lol
