My older brother bought me a troll when I was a little girl. He went to see the Harlem Globetrotters in 1966 and I can remember him going, even though I was a teeny tot and he bought me back a little brown troll with green hair. I still have it! It does’nt have much hair left and I used to suck it so it’s a bit the worse for wear!!

I write this with deep sadness after hearing last night of the death of Sol. We live this parallel life in Just Chat, and sometimes people who start off as chatters become good friends even if we never meet or even speak to each other outside this little box. There are people who have faded away from our little chatroom over the years, and it had made me wonder whether they are still with us. We have our chatroom ‘tiffs’ our little online romances, our likes and dislikes of other chatters, but…….it saddens me to think that someone could just vanish and us never know what has happened to them.
