He was the guest on Desert Island Discs last week and came across as a thoroughly likeable man.

So very sad to hear today that his 3 year old son, Noah has cancer.

I wish him a speedy recovery and his parents the strength they’ll need at this most awful of times.

If people just behaved like the adults they’re meant to be, the boards and the rooms wouldn’t need constant monitoring. Instead, there are contentious threads started and people just can’t wait to jump on the bandwagon and unpleasantness (at least) ensues.

I must admit, I’ve never had a problem getting a GP appointment at the surgery I attend. They operate a triage system where you phone in and a doctor calls you back. If you need an appointment he’ll make on with you either for that day or the following one.
