Yeah Des, you are right, its always the ones you don’t expect support from that are the ones who are there through thick and thin. And yes i did trust the wrong people Sassy, and it makes it hard to trust again.
Ive changed my mind, no i dont think internet friendships can work, its a case of yeah we will be your friend when you are here, but when the chips are down, no, they are no where to be found.

I think yes some internet friendships can work, im lucky because 8 of my best friends i have met from chatting, and one of them even proves that men and women can be just friends. Ive even had one internet friendship that survived despite it having been based on lies because at the end of the day i could see past it and see the person who was my friend, and start again based on truth.
On the other hand, ive also had internet friendships that weren’t real friendships, i was being used because im a good listener and i noticed that there are some people who only talk to me if there is no one else around and if im being honest, those are the people i don’t lose sleep over.
I will say one thing though, i won’t let the false friends put me off, because my 8 best friends mean the world to me and i wouldn’t be without them. I also don’t blame people who want to retain some privacy as they get to know me, its all about trust in the end isn’t it, and, do you let a few false people hold you back from finding the people who genuinely want to be your friend.
