i agree that modern day players are fitter and healthyer…..but i would reserve judgement as for more skillful

conditions yesteryear were (as a lot of you have said) harder and less money plus the equiptment in todays game is highly technical and obviously better

boots balls shirts blah blah blah….

but you know the ONE thing that angers me about the players involved in the modern game…….tiredness…holy fu/ck i hate it when they say that…prima donas the whole fu/cking lot of them…and ill give you an example

to touch upon something that was said in an earlier post…tennis players…

for example..if one tennis player got to the final of wimbledon…with playing an average of 3 hours per round….add that to the 6 rounds it takes to get to the final….

then thats an average of ……3240 minutes played in 2 weeks (not to mention if they play in doubles and mixed doubles)

    a footballer??…….180 minutes in 2 weeks……

thats just one “shakey example”…. but the next time you hear a manager or player complaining about …too many games or being tired then tell them to shove their £15,000 to £100,000 A WEEK (covering all bases there) up their sodden tired fu/cking arses

    i thank you

I wouldnt say there’s much if anything between St Mirren and Hamilton. I still fancy St Mirren to go down this season.

It was a shock result. Rangers have been in good form, and Saints hadnt beaten them at Love St for 20 years or something.

believe it or not…st.mirren are too good to go down this season

we have been playing good stuff this season without putting the ball in the net

    only 8 games played…its a marathon season…not a sprint

my tip at the start of the season to go down was kilmarnock…but thay have had a good start, hamilton have shiped 8 goals in their last 2 games and aberdeen arent looking great.

it will be close towards the end of the season…but saints wont go down (i hope)

next saturday’s international has came at the wrong time…but hamilton in 2 weeks would a good time to go on a wee run
