    CFD.exe – Useless

    cfd.exe

    BroadJump Client Foundation.
This software is installed with your DSL cable modem driver.
    Actions:
    1) Installs some software under C:Program FilesBroadJumpClient Foundation,
    2) Adds Comcast entries to the browser’s “Favorites”
    menu
    3) Adds IPrenew.bat file for the 0.000001% of users who can’t figure out how to renew their IP manually.
    4) Replaces a few Microsoft redistributable DLL’s.
    5) Puts a DevMngr.vxd (or BJIPAddr.vxd) in the Windowssystem folder.
May be stopped without any problems.

If anything pops up wangle there is usualy a link on the warning that will take you to information about it which will help you decided whats safe and what isnt. If you use the checkbox command to allow it or deny it then it wont repeat the warning the next time it tries to access.

If you have what Temptress describes above [BroadJump Client Foundation] instaled onto your comp allow the program access rights and tick the box remeber settings and click allow.

If you dont have the [BroadJump Client Foundation] instaled onto your comp investigate what this program is before allowing access to the net.
