mine was in 1985
my father died on boxing day after a long illness
so was all a bit grim
the weather was very cold and at his funeral early in the new year
the car par at the crem was like a sheet of ice
whilst we were in the there we had a sprinkling of snow
i was driving a rear wheel drive escort at the time and i just couldnt get off the car park
so in desparation i used the old mans ashes
i put them under the back wheels to get some grip
and sure enugh got me moving
god rest his soul its the only time in me life the old git done some thing usefull for me :PIt’s ok! I had a lucky escape I think. Happy new year everyone!

You have to wait at least a week to pick up someone’s ashes from the crem…

it was meant to be humour
he was buried any way
