come on girls….. some nice eye candy here……..
http://youtube.com/watch?v=bviO2SM5H7k19 August, 2007 at 5:57 am #279928A few of my fave musical sequences from some of my fave movies. Please beware of possible plot SPOILERS in these clips.
First up.. a live rendering from The Mission soundtrack.
The powerful theme to Schindler’s List.. with harrowing real life Holocaust footage and stills from Spielberg’s masterpiece.
On a much lighter note.. the classic Top Hat
A huge fave of mine – Moulin Rouge (I know MJ visited this one earlier on) – Your Song and Elephant Love Medley.
:PHans Zimmer’s music and Lisa Gerrard’s haunting vocals from the awesome Gladiator.
This legendary duet from High Society.
A nerdy and somewhat erm… tremulous toned Edward Norton croons to Drew Barrymore Here and tries a umm.. different take on a classic made famous by Nina Simone Here in Woody Allen’s superb Everyone Says “I Love You”.
Michael Nyman’s brilliant theme from The Piano.
May It Be andInto The West from The Lord Of The Rings.
Blade Runner – with music by Vangelis – Beginning and End.
Sicilian ancestry discussed to Lakme’s Flower Duet in True Romance.
The genius of Stanley Kubrick Here and Here.
And of course the iconic Sith Happens!
