well, Pete got the poem, but the poem is famous.

This was a caption which amused me, but it’s too small, and cosy knows me too well – I am an idiot when it comes to computer stuff (and much else besides I know many would add).

Here it is in all its smallness –

Is that Woody Allen….cant stand him

He was funny in his time.

    I found that caption funny.

I also find Stewart Lee funny.

We’re all different. That’s the way of the world.

Don’t know who Stewart Lee is he is probably way before my time
We are all different but for some reason I’ve never liked woody Allen then there was all that stuff with him and his adopted daughter

noooo, Stewart lee is very much alive and well and contemporary.

My son has booked me a ticket to see him next month in London – front tables too.

It’s a particular style of humour – the slow burn, where he says things which aren’t either funny or relevant in a rambling story. Then the story comes together, and the irrelevant/unfunny things are taken up to become hilarious.

He makes fun of other comics though, like Graham Norton and some foul-mouthed guy with goggles (Roy Chubby Brown. I’ve just been told was his name). He’s particuarly fierce with racist comics like Bernard Manning, who are the favourites of some of the people on the boards.

Don’t know whether you’d like him though, as he’s long-winded – like me
