Try Sainsburys or Waitrose or M & S – they are bound to have puff pastry. Tesco Asda & Morrisons etc are unlikely to have much of it left – assuming they had much in to start with.

24 December, 2008 at 11:30 am #388029The one great thing about Christmas isn’t turkey but you’re close.
I’ve got all inspired by that amazing film ‘Footloose’. Tonight I’m going to steal a couple of farm tractors and attempt an epic game of Chicken while blasting out ‘I Need A Hero’.
Some absurd and utterly pointless dancing will probably follow.
24 December, 2008 at 12:14 pm #388030Reminds me of that classic Kenneth Williams line from Round the Horn……. (must be said in a Somerset accent for proper authenticity).
“I saw a girl in the fields riding a farm vehicle.”
“A tractor???”
“Yes, I suppose I must have done.”
24 December, 2008 at 2:41 pm #388031The turkey will be the best gobble some people will get all year.

30 December, 2008 at 10:22 am #388033So has everyone finished up all that lovey left over turkey then? I,ve had turkey curry and the OH had sweet and sour turkey.
Now I,m on the lookout for cheap turkeys tescos might be selling off to go in the freezer for next Christmas. How efficient is that eh? Nowt like being prepared.
30 December, 2008 at 11:15 am #388034How long does a turkey last in a freezer ?
(3 – 4 months …..Ed)
