I’ve not missed it, I just weondered what sort of contribution I could sensibly make.
The fact is that a while ago (last year) the levels of insult and abuse simply got totally out of control. It got so that yer average ‘reasonable’ poster simply didn’t want to be involved with all the ‘fighting’ and name calling etc.
OK so we’ve put a stop to that the hard way and insisted on some basic rules so as to try our best to make this a message board community where our members need not fear being harassed or abused.
OK so the ‘post count’ has dropped somewhat, but personally I think that the atmosphere on here is a lot better. I’m perfectly happy to swap a lower post count for a nicer and more respectful place for our members to post their stuff.

And jen jen you post regularly but theres only a few do.. ok theres those that dont get in as often as they did but post when they do far as i can figure out. And i think Tinkerbell has a decent idea no posts for say i dunno ..6 month .. and the account is deleted ?You fools! Kate’s got at least two characters on this thread alone. :roll: Sadly you cant spot her like I can.
I dont see the point of the thread either. The people that complained about the “abuse” on the boards have now got what they wanted- A gay little Message Board with a “nice atmosphere”.
BM you are right, Kate does have at least 2 characters in this thread alone lol.
Personally, I think the new JC sucks the bag, its boring along with its posters…People complained when JC had the STD forum, even though they didnt have to read it, thats what gets me laughing, and they still complain, JC will never pick up anymore then it has right now, the chats may be booming, but the boards are the sh its and will remain so.
When there was rows and goings on on these boards there were always ‘lots’ of people here reading, now there is only 1 to 5 at any given time…Just goes to show people love the rows but still complain for the sake of complaining :lol:

I know that this will come as a complete surprise to some, but the fact is that the majority of our members really don’t post on here so that they can be belittled or generally abused by others. Some of them even object to being threatened with naked or photoshopped pictures of themselves being posted without their consent. Now who’d have thought that eh?
I realise that this will displease some users who regard that sort of stuff as just being good ‘banter’. Yes the numbers of visitors has dropped off in the recent past – the ones, that lurk in the background to read the salacious details of somebody’s failed romance or gloat over the latest round in an internet war and so on.
But a message board community is a bit more than just that. There are plenty of sites on the internet where you can go and abuse others (if that is your wish) or even have a total stranger hurl accusations and insults at you for that matter. Play your cards right and they’ll even post personal stuff about you, just to be really hurtful.
JustChat is not in that business – sorry.
This won’t please everybody – I know that – but this is the way it is and the way it’s going to stay. So if the current ‘tone’ of this message board is not to an individual’s liking, well I’m really sorry about that….. but hey – you can’t win ’em all.

Yep, the Luvvie faintheart Coup d’etat succeeded, but most of the luvvie fainthearts seem to have gone elsewhere now. :-k

Well I don’t know about chocolate and tinkerbell but I do know that Peanut is a regular F3 chatter and a very nice one at that….guess you got that one wrong :wink:

I have been a member of the boards since Jan2006 and have have been chatting in JC off and on for the last 7years and have seen you in there for some of it.
Mind you don’t know why I have to prove myself to you
