Emma, are you really taking us back 50 years- bringing up children, making dinner for hubby and being a housewife is what women are best at!!

Im saying, everyone has qualities specific to them, a mother is better at home looking after the family unit, than a father. That doesn’t mean she isnt good enough to work, im a prime example. Men are better at earning the “bread” to feed the kids a mother encourages to eat via love and understanding.

It becomes too much when were encouraged by idiots in power to mass multi task.

If I’d have said that, I have been called a sexist n male chauvanist pig. I actually don’t necessarily disagree with some of your point- society places pressure on women to conform to a certain way but financial pressure also dictates whether a woman works. Some women would prefer not to work but dont have a choice.

Is that twice we’ve agreed now?!?!

Naaaa, thats the medias impression of what our political masters want.

financial pressure also dictates whether a woman works.

Can do, but women generally didn’t work 30 years ago, and society was more tolerant. We have been “told” that we must work until we cannot work any longer, because new labour are RUBBISH at spending taxes, so they need more. I hate to say it, but females are easily led by image, blairs babes image.

    Now cameron is doing it…

Come on girls, KNOW what your voting for.

Is that twice we’ve agreed now?!?!

    You’re a closet BNP voter :D

Slayer, why do we need ethnic diversity? Its a racist concept, touted by racists to cater for racists and is inherrently racist in its conception

In a NON racist enviroment the colour of someones skin ISNT supposed to be important, nor is their cultural background. Therefore the mix of cultures and race is unnecessary, and non racist prisoners dont need any specific races looking after them

You cant in one breath say that its racist to see people in terms of their background and then constantly use that as a benchmark, its contradictory

So the prison wouldnt need to be moved whether in corby and filled with whites, wolverhampton and filled with blacks or smethwick and filled with asians, although the oh so “equal” lefties probably wouldnt see a problem with the lack of diversity in the last two, coz it aint whites in the majority is it?

Where it is isnt important, what is important is that its employing people, and moving it to in effect replace whites with non whites IS racism in the exact same way moving it from a predominantly non white area to create more jobs for whites would be racist

Thats equality, not prejudice, to see that you’ll need a mirror

“The decision to move out of Corby is wrong based on diversity”

Tell me where I have said it is right to move away from Corby based on anything other than economic or rationalisation reasons

Apologies for that then, it seems I am interpretting your responses to my posts as innacurately as youre reading my initial comments then lol

I think it’s barking to move a business to create “diversity”- I don’t have a problem with diversity, indeed the opposite

    we are all human :D

Have any of you been to Corby?

There no rail point in the town.

The wages are high and its far from an umpoyment black spot.

I think the real reason is that; wages are too high and they can’t staff on the money they are offering.

Nope its much better to move it to a sh1t hole and get some cheap “oversea” workers to cover the work.

We must keep taxes down and if you can get someone to work for £5.30, all the better.
