i agree with you all on racheal’s atitude but last night that was her song. she sang it well and enjoyed it. for once maybe her mentor listened to her too. oeghan did well last night too. it was a first in my view, he pulled off a really difficult song. alex is lovely, a bit like leona, i think she” go far, the band jls a didnt like them last night and thought they should have been in the bottom 2 with diana. and then there’s the lovely seniorita ruth. she’s bliddy gorgous sings with passion and a star deffo in the making
16 November, 2008 at 3:26 pm #381126Like all the other X Factor “stars”
oh wtf is a deluxe edition of an album, i reckon it means Leona got no new material so we’ll re-release album and sling a couple of “bonus” tracks on :?

Skank is slang and a pejorative term used in English to describe a certain type of female. The term “Skank” differs from that of “Slut” in that whereas the latter implies only sexual promiscuity; the former also implies poor taste, personally selfish behaviour and low class. Other skank behaviors can include being obsessed with celebrity lifestyle and emulating it.
Originally denoting a bad smell[citation needed] or a filthy surface[3], “skank” has come to refer to someone who is physically repugnant for their filth, and figuratively applied to someone who is morally or socially repugnant for their behavior and demeanor, most often sexual conduct.
16 November, 2008 at 9:21 pm #381128I looked it up too dawny and got ..
Skank… Tracey Connolly. child killer and all round skanky beatch.
16 November, 2008 at 9:52 pm #381129So it seems that you don’t approve of Rachel’s lifestyle then Dawny, eh? She has admitted being a regular (though allegedly reforemd) drug user and living what is referred to in some quarters as a “Bohemian lifestyle”.
Skank or not – I do think that she has a major attitude problem and appears to approach everything with a most unpleasantly aggressive manner.
Even if she is ‘successful’ in the pop music field, she has already earned herself a reputation as being “difficult to work with”. This probably means that most major agents wouldn’t touch her with somebody else’s bargepole.

None of us know Rachel to call her anything, apart from what we read in the newspapers. She does seem a little ‘difficult’ and there is a attitude thing going on which I would also describe as defensive because she knows people judge her about her past.
She’s a good singer and that is what X Factor is about, calling her a ‘skank’ is actually inacurate seeing as she is no longer a drug user and may ‘up’ her class if she wins the X Factor! Unless you mean because she is selfish etc.. then of course it would be accurate.
PS. Diana not to win!
Agreed Tinkerbell.
Her past is her past too, can any of us say there are no skeletons in our cupboards. I would’nt say she was one of the best singers, but she certainly has something different, I watched on Saturday and have to say I really enjoyed her rendition of Amy, it seemed to suit her voice.
Diana, again, different, but I don’t think she has enough to win. My money is on Alexandra.
17 November, 2008 at 11:15 am #381132I think JLS will win :) i really like alexandra only problem with her is she is like a poor version of leona lewis
17 November, 2008 at 5:14 pm #381133Well seeing as we still have freedom of speach an all that, I shall call her what I like. I dont like her, I dont like her attitude, I dont like her voice, I dont like anything about her.
So what that she is turning her life around and trying to care for two kids now, what about the ones she had taken off her and put in care? Sorry, I dont care 1 dot about her.
Dear God there are things that have happened in my life that was hard, I didnt turn to drugs or crime or anything else then had my kids taken off me.
I may have cared a whole lot more about her, if her attitude had been different, but it wasnt. So if I want to call her a skank, I shall call her a skank!
17 November, 2008 at 6:27 pm #381134Interesting Dawny. I didn’t know that she had some of her children taken into care. I do agree with you about the drug thing – not too nice is it?
For me it is her generally aggressive attitude that I am uncomfortable with….. but then I’ve never been comfortable with aggressive females with a big mouth on them.
