Scott from the X Factor, he looked so speechless and gutted after louis sent him packing!! Felt really sorry for him, I’ve never seen anybody look so uncomfortable on TV….
aah so it was Scott then.. ? normally id click on here and know such things. ? from the Banal to the downright riduculous…
I thought he was bland anyway, as i think the entire show IS this year. he never made ME sit up and notice !

Agree with you Tickled Pink – you just wanted to give him a hug didn’t you……Daniel should have gone really but the song to his wife was tooooooooooo heartrendering….but awwwwwww at Louis Walsh getting all upset at Daniel’s song….
I think that there were two component parts to his going last night. His singing seemed somehow to lack any real emotion in that he just stood there and sang the words, but put nothing of himself into it. This was particularly aparrent in the “sing-off”.
Secondly he changed his image totally with the “skinhead” haircut. Previously it was the sort of sticking up gelled look which gave him a more interesting appearance. His ‘new’ look made him look more like a gawky tongue-tied yob – not a look that sells him to the public (or to the judges). Standing there, with his tie undone and struggling not to put his hands in his pockets did him no favours at all.
I also noticed that last week when he got through, he delivered a momentary outburst where his face took on a really violent look – almost as if he was going to start a street fight.

Yes is was “touching” …. momentarily. But you know Daniel is a really clever and skilled manipulator. I reckon that he specialises in creating “car crash TV” moments, where the judges are manupulated into emotionally breaking down.
He isn’t the best singer by a long chalk. Louis had it just right when he said Daniel should be singing at the end of Blackpool pier – he is a natural ‘crooner’ not a pop singer. He can never win this contest, especially with the strength of the solo female singers this year.
But when push comes to shove, Daniel manages to insert into the show that he is singing of his love for his dead wife, so that he gets 100% of the sympathy vote. All he needs to do is to sing a ‘tear-jerker’ and he is home free …… as it transpired last night.
Mind you, he has a lot going for him. Not a bad looking bloke; friendly and engaging smile; a great sob story that encourages the “awwwww” factor; he comes across as a nice likeable guy and I can easily see loads of females falling for him. I hope he gets through a few more rounds anyway.
i felt sorry for scott too but what a twit dermit was to ask him how he felt?you could plainly see how he felt i thought he was going to break down at any moment i think daniel is using that story to win votes and of course he got through because of it. that diana is begining to get on my nerves now her hand thing that she does is pretty silly i think one of the women will win the show. who do you think will win???good show last night i thought
I agree. Diana is a total irritant what with her “little girl” voice and the no shoes ‘Sandie Shaw’ look. The hand gesture is so obviously an affectation designed to push her image, along with the allegedly crippling nervousness – but somehow she bravely manages to perform on the night. Yeah, right !!!
Her days are numbered.
One of the girl singers will win for sure – but selecting which one is really really tough. I love the Spanish one (Ruth Lorenzo) – her rendition of Purple Rain was utterly fantastic; Alexandra Burke has a tremendous stage presence and makes each of her songs her own; Laura White has an amazing singing voice and really delivers each song with enormous feeling.
They all three sing in key (unlike many of the other contestants) so chosing between them for me is really impossible.
That was the best “swing” night in the history of Xfactor, I loved it.
The right one went. Did you see how novice he looked when they did the troops song? he was looking over his shoulder as if expecting someone to be there…. but looking back he was probably wondering where Danny and Ruth were as the door got stuck and they couldnt get on stage!
I agree with PB, Im in awe of Ruth, I cant wait to see what she will do next and that for me makes it much more interesting.
The girls have it this year, they are exceptional, and they all stood out last night. 8)

I think Daniel plays to much on his dead wifes memory, it was sweet at first but now it’s as if he is so desperate to stay in he just starts crying and then everyone votes for him!
Diana has got to be the most annoying singer on there, she’s no mariah carey i’ll admit her voice is ‘different’ but thats about it.
I think Daniel should have gone not Scott, as I think Scott may have had more to offer dispite Daniel having the better voice. Diana should have gone before all of them. Jls to win!iam glad you agree over diana she is so daft with it she doesnt make any impressions with me its almost as if she is trying to flirt with the men while she sings i dont like her voice at all certainly wouldnt get her cd.
i think alexander is great so much better this time round ive a feeling she maybe close to wining it i dont think the boy band will win now after last night simon was right about them i think daniel should of gone ages ago he isnt going to win it. poor scott your right though he did look out of place last night [/quote]
