I’m finding this competition increasing difficult to call. They all seemed to sing pretty well this evening. I have to admit that, although Stacey Solomon – the Dagenham diva – has a nice voice and sings really well, she is the most utter and complete dork when it comes to saying anything. A sort of female Wurzel Gummidge – but from Essex.
My instinct is that Danyl will be voted out tomorrow – the ‘gay’ vote will only carry him so far. God knows who will win the final but if pushed, I’d plump for Joe Mc whatever his name is from Geordieland.
Poor Stacey made 2 major faux pas’s on her high notes. danyle EXCELLENT..olly.. why doe Cowell keep giving him old songs to sing??

I watched it last night and snippets Saturday night…I’m surprised Lloyd wasn’t booted before now..and out of the remaining 4 I don’t think any of them are on par with Leona…as in a megastar, I think Danyl will win but none of them to me seem to have the x-factor and will probably be one album wonders then fade into the x-factor winners are losers category :lol:

And agreed…. why oh why does he give Olly songs that make him sound like a cruise ship entertainer!
Joe to win, he has the voice of an angel. I reckon Olly will go out this week. I don’t rate Danyl like everyone else seems to, he was mediocre last night in my opinion. But he will get the votes i think.
Stacey had a dreadful first choice of song, but she still gives me goosebumps at times.
Non-musical event of the year coming to an end. :( I like watching it to see who surfaces towards the end of the competition. This year for me it is Joe who has shone as the weeks have gone on.
AND they over choreographed Olly too Mims. it was like,, “oh he can dance”.. poor guy did not know if it was New York or New Year !
I thought he almost moon walked at one point! What a faux pas that would have been!

But ……….. we can all see you’re still harping on even though if you read back you said you weren’t playing anymore. :P :roll:As I said earlier on …. the gay vote would only carry Danyl so far and tonight his train came off the tracks. Although he was a reasonably good singer, he sure seemed to have several personal issues (according to the Tabloids anyway) and that might also have swayed the voting. BTW have you ever seen a mouth as large as his when fully open???
I would love the gormless Stacey Solomon to do well as she seems to have a nice voice. However, if they interview her – that will be the kiss of death to her hopes and wishes for stardom. She will come third.
Olly is a strong contender as he sure has a confident stage presence. Somehow I see him more as a ‘song & dance’ man rather than a pop star. I think he will come second.
Geordie Joe Mc Thingummyjig appears to have the whole package. Very good looking lad who will appeal to all the pubescent teenies as well as to the ‘more mature’ woman. He will also benefit from the transfer of Danyl’s ‘gay’ vote. Nice open smile that will impress many toothpaste advertising executives – plenty of room here for sponsorship. Oh and amazingly, he can sing in tune as well. Yup Geordie Joe to win.
