8 November, 2009 at 9:10 pm #409854Sits all alone in the billy no mate corner.
Have to agree with you though tic. :|
8 November, 2009 at 9:23 pm #409855On the X-tra factor, Simon just said that it didn’t go the way he’d expected it to so I think he left it to the public vote thinking that those two would be the ones with the less votes.
Lucie shouldn’t even have been in the bottom two. Lloyd and the cretins yea, but not her, she’s one of the best singers on there and i’m sure this won’t be the end for her. I think Simon inadvertently may have done her the biggest favour of her life.

Sorry Cas, How do you work that one out then ? :?
As tic said he’s made himself look a complete tvvat because all the way through he’s been gunning for the cretins & the one totally justifiable chance he had of sending them packing, he bottled it.
So much for him judging on that one performance. Lucie was better & has been from the start.
What’s he gonna do now? Give her a recording contract to save face?8 November, 2009 at 9:40 pm #409857This show is a complete farce and a fix.

9 November, 2009 at 10:09 am #409859I suspect that you all have missed the point of all this stuff about the ‘gruesome twosome’.
The object of the exercise at this stage is to keep the show at the front of a media publicity campaign, as well as to make ‘loadsa money’ out of all the phoned in votes for the show’s owners.
By letting ‘Jedward’ go through to the next round, a media storm is once again created, one that will positively encourage voters next week (and the week after etc) to phone in with their votes to ensure that their favourite act doesn’t get bumped off by ‘Jedward’
Sadly, Simon Cowell’s comments to the effect that the delicious Miss Jones could’t have won the final were all too true. She is a lovely looking girl and has a charming and open smile AND she can sing in tune – a combination of which has brought her this far. Problem is that she is still too young & innocent and lacks the necessary toughness to succeed in the pop misic world. Her parents must be incredibly proud of their little girl (and quite rightly so), but at the end of the day she is still a naive 18 year old from a tiny Welsh village.
I predict that Jedward will go through AGAIN next week!
9 November, 2009 at 5:16 pm #409860i saw the show last night but havnt been watching the series so far apart from the odd snippet when i walk past the tv….why was it wrong for simon to let it go to the public vote when its the public who are voting for the winner?
undoubtidly that young girl was better than the twins but she had less votes than the those boys before the sing off even started :?9 November, 2009 at 5:22 pm #409861@forumhostpb wrote:
