Theres been so many threads about love and cheating and all that so thought id do this post(u can tell im bored ) :lol: …back to the thread……When i ws married a few yrs ago now after id had my second child i always used to think i had a big bum n always thou hed lied to me about it wen i asked him hed always say”no babes u look great” :lol:..bet he ws thinkin the opposite thou :lol: :lol:

i would tell a white lie if i thort the truuth wouold hurt , say ermmmm do i look ok for instance if they looked really bd then i would find a way to ‘suggest” that they could maybe change this or that
Would i lie to save a loved ones feelings i guess i would bearing in mind that the loved one has proberly gone to great lengths to look there best or has made a mammoth effort to get a meal right. Ive had knock downs myself and its not nice in fact it hurts so yes i would lie to save thier feelings. Some of the things my ex wife said while i was married to her were just plain hurtfull. :roll: I think Cath has the right answer maybe a surgestion of a change of either this or that.

Joking apart, I don’t think a white lie is wrong – especially amongst friends eg like you said ‘does my bum look big in this’ (red dress) – ya say why don’t you wear your black one. Nowt wrong with that!
