This is when the madness of England only taking 4 strikers with them comes into sharp contrast.I agree with Tiggy that’ll be the team he picks. I don’t reckon Carragher would be any better than Hargreaves, though. He plays there week in, week out for Bayern and you just don’t get to do that if you’re as shit as everyone says.
Overall, I’ll be happy with that team. Thinking on about the strikers, though, I reckon the reason he didn’t bring anymore than he did was that he just didn’t rate them as being useful enough. Hence the gamble with an unknown. We’ll give it a good go, though, in any case.

Whilst we have a wealth of attacking midfield talent, its not too much of a disaster.
