do you really think then that I have an infection as well as just the teeth causing problem?
is it going to get really bad?Shazz! I havent read the whole thread, just bits..but if you`v got an infection..the whole one side of ya face will be throbing..not just ya mouth..I dont even think you would be bothered with be on here..you would just wanna kip!! swear..xx
5 September, 2008 at 8:42 pm #369819Yep, but so you may have to wait till Monday. Painkillers!
You can take anti-inflammatories like neurofen and paracetamol together. But I would suggest you do 2 of one and then wait 2 hours and do 2 of the other. You can space them that way and make the pain relief better.
Don’t take either if you are allergic or have a condition where you shouldn’t take them though. Check with a pharmacist if you aren’t sure, you can phone 24 hour ones up.

5 September, 2008 at 8:56 pm #369823aww pp you poor thing… and dawny thinking nothing of it (like chicken man)
As Ive read today us “older dudes” suffer more than those whose extra molars decide to make an appearance earlier on.
5 September, 2008 at 9:01 pm #369824Had trouble with one of my teeth a few years back, I was sat in a dentist chair every day for a week, just for him to numb it to give me some relief so I could grab an hours sleep!
I had a dry socket and an infection that went right down to my jaw bone, ended up on Morphine in hospital, my face had swollen up so bad I couldnt open my mouth or my eye!
They had to keep me on Morphine for a couple of days and sick me on some Valium to calm me down (was hysterical) they then had to drain my gum and pack it and stitch it up. Was amazing, a day later it was like nothing had happened to my mouth!
Like I said, when it comes to teeth, I am THE biggest baby going, I just cant handle it
5 September, 2008 at 10:39 pm #369825Clove oil is the best for instant pain relief but when it is your wisdom teeth you can go to the hospital for free treatment

had this and was pacing the floors all night, then went to work. Finally got some cover in the afternoon. Drove to dentist, eighty mile round trip, and they took it out.
Sheer relief when I got the local, went back to waiting room and collapsed asleep
infection makes ya whole head throb, you need penicillin
